For some people, February is a month filled with of love and celebration, for other it’s a time for discounted chocolates and wine (which can also be a reason to celebrate). But if you’re like me, you’ll agree that this month is the perfect time to celebrate your love for chocolate and wine! See what I did there?
The Old Sugar Mill, located just south of Sacramento in Clarksburg, combines all of these decedent treats, making it easy to woo your love interest, or fun to forget them. Clarksburg is a small town located along the Sacramento River, if you blink you might miss it, but it’s packed full of charm! The Old Sugar Mill is home to THIRTEEN different tasting rooms, highlighting some of California’s premier wine makers. The weekend before Valentine’s Day, February 11th & 12th, they will be hosting “Port, Wine, & Chocolate Lovers Weekend”.
