June marks the official start to Summer, the season that makes the River City come to life. Soon, our TV and radio commercial breaks are going to be filled with “Boat Safety” PSA’s and A/C repair company advertisements. The warm weather also means Second Saturday is back! On the second Saturday of every month- as the name suggests- “Sacramento galleries and local businesses host an open house evening starting at around 5:30pm until 9pm or later. [Patrons can] Enjoy… art exhibits, local artists, food and wine, live music, street fairs and special events.” The event appeals to all age groups with everything from face painting to lively beer gardens.
Over the years, Second Saturday has become a Sacramento Summer staple… Check it out! 🙂
